Looking for OTC 2022 Rising Stars

2021 has been tumultuous with the pandemic and its aftermath, nevertheless the stock market once again had a banner year. By August, the S&P 500 had doubled from its pandemic low in March 2020; since then, it has continued a protracted climb to record high after record high.

A substantial portion of global financial assets are traded over-the-counter (OTC), including virtually all corporate bonds, sovereign fixed-income instruments, and swaps. The OTCQB also known as "The Venture Market" consists of early-stage and developing U.S. and international companies and has 1,095 securities compared to the OTC Pink (the next tier down) which has 11,181 securities. Companies listed on OTCQB report to a U.S. regulator such as the SEC and must follow strict reporting and governance standards to improve transparency as opposed to the OTC Pink securities.

Rather than looking at OTC Pink securities it could perhaps be more interesting to look at early-stage OTCQB tech companies to find the next rising star. One dynamic area of technology right now is big data. The global big data technology market size was $41.33 billion in 2019 and is projected to reach $116.07 billion by 2027, at a CAGR of 14.0% in forecast period according to a report published by Fortune Business Insights.

Below, you'll find some intriguing and high-potential big data equities from the OTC Market. These companies may well make investors money from the increasing need for and use of data.

Plyzer Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: PLYZ) is a provider of custom, real-time, cloud-based  business intelligence solutions through big data analytics. The company is developing a commercial web portal aimed at providing solutions for price comparison using AI in several niche markets, also providing cloud-based business intelligence solutions for brands to analyze critical online price and market data.

Wikisoft corp. (OTCQB:WSFT) is another possible rising star - a company which aims to help companies of any size tap into the benefits of Big Data. Wikisoft is constantly updating massive datasets of business data and uses it to provide user-friendly nuggets of data about global companies and world-wide professionals empowering small to large enterprises take the best business decisions. AMPD Ventures Inc. As the world charges forward towards the realization of 'the Metaverse' and other spatial computing initiatives, AMPD is representative of a next generation of independent, sector-focused service providers.

AMPD commenced trading on the OTCQB on July 1, 2021. The company uses a tiered approach, including ultra-high speed NVMe-based storage fronted by a parallel file system that enables thousands of compute cores to access the data simultaneously. They recently announced a deal with Vancouver-based Bardel Entertainment, Inc. to provide cutting-edge NVMe-based storage for their shows which require hundreds of gigabits per second of throughput. AMPD was one of the companies presenting at the recent Small Cap Growth OTC Virtual Investor Conference.
